“Barbarians Heart” Ruby Dixon IBP #10

Barbarian’s Heart (Ice Planet Barbarians, #9)Barbarian’s Heart by Ruby Dixon

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Another wonderful installment from Dixon’s #IBP series

The story and worldbuilding are compelling and Ruby really gets you into the world of not-Hoth.

****Contains Spoilers****
Pashov was injured and lost his memory of his wife and child (and all the events after the humans crashed on his planet) during the earthquake that left the tribe homeless. After camping at the Elders cave and sending out scouts, a new home has been found an abandoned village many miles away.

Stacy is faced with a husband who doesn’t remember her and there is no definite guarantee that he’ll get his memory back either.

The frustrations and reality of being a new single-mother with the father there in all but memory is made so real in this story. Pashov mans up, steals his family away and spends time with Stacy rebuilding his relationship.

A solid 3 stars from me for this lovely addition to this series
